The Best Mandalorian Merch to Celebrate the Arrival of Season Two

When Disney announced that they would be spearheading their brand new streaming service with an original series based in the Star Wars galaxy, fans were cautiously optimistic about how the show would perform. Star Wars had seen success with TV series in the past, with The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels being fan-favorites, but the one thing that made this series different is that it would be live-action. Up to this point, live-action Star Wars content was largely reserved for the episodic movies, so a live-action series would be uncharted territory. And with the newer Star Wars movies receiving mixed reviews, people were largely unsure of what to expect with The Mandalorian. Luckily for Disney and the fans, The Mandalorian was a massive success after its release, spawning a renewed excitement for the Star Wars franchise and creating some new fans along the way. Now that the long-awaited season two of The Mandalorian has arrived, Star Wars fans are grabbing their plastic lightsabers and brushing up on their lore in anticipation for the newest episodes. But what if you’re a newcomer to the Star Wars galaxy, and you don’t want to be left in the dust of people screeching about Baby Yoda and cryptically whispering, “This is the way”? Well you’re in luck, because we’re here to show you some of the best Mandalorian merch to spice up your life and get you in the Star Wars spirit.

The Child Funko Pop

via amazon.com

If one of your first thoughts when you laid eyes on the Child was, “Oh my goodness, I want one,” then do we have great news for you. Plenty of companies have responded to this demand with their own figures, plushies, and statues, and famed collectible company Funko has been producing different Baby Yoda Pop figures ever since season one aired its final episode. At this point there’s been close to ten different Funko Pops that feature the Child, each of them more adorable than the last. There’s nothing like the original one though, and Funko really knocked it out of the park with this figure. With his oversized eyes and ears, this Funko Pop is the cutest way to decorate your desk or add some flair to a bookshelf. You can’t possibly look into this little guy’s big eyes and not get a warm feeling in your chest, so why wouldn’t you want him in your home? You can finally bring home your own Baby Yoda right here, and if you’re feeling bold enough to invest in the 10 inch version of the same Pop, you can grab that one right here.

When it comes to The Mandalorian, it’s one of the more accessible pieces of Star Wars media in quite some time. That’s what makes it truly wonderful at the end of the day, even the most uninitiated of fans can enjoy it. With season two underway and already proving to be just as exciting as season one, The Mandalorian is continuing to show how it’s able to draw in audiences far and wide and expose them to the magic of Star Wars. Hopefully the items we’ve shown you today will help extend that magic even further and bring you as much joy as Baby Yoda’s smile does.

Everyone Larray Called Out In “Cancelled”

TikToker and YouTuber Larray shocked fans with his new diss track that calls out other influencers. Here is everyone Larray called out and why:

  1. Bryce Hall

At the beginning of the music video, influencer and friend of Larray, Quenlin Blackwell bluntly states she hates Bryce. Then the song begins and Larray’s first lyric is poking fun at Bryce for only being famous because of Addison Rae. The two have had a very public on-again-off-again relationship for the past year.

  1. James Charles

Even though Larray and James are besties, Larray poked fun at James’s big butt and even bigger forehead.

  1. Jeffree Star

Larray calls out Jeffree for his racist past and makes a remark that Jeffree says the n-word. Although he has apologized for his past actions, fans don’t believe Jeffree has truly changed as a person.

  1. Noah Beck

Noah Neck — uhh I mean Beck — has been the butt of many jokes on TikTok. People make fun of his large neck and even though Larray did as well, he also added that Dixie D’Amelio chose Noah over her ex-boyfriend Griffin.

  1. Nikita Dragun

Nikita has faced controversy in the past couple of months because of her changing skin color. Fans called her out for “blackfishing” and using an excessive amount of tanner to make herself appear darker. She attempted to make a joke about it and tweeted “what race will Nikita be today?” Larray decided to call her out on this and state that she “wanna be the same shade as Lupita.” (In reference to Lupita Nyong’o)

  1. Tony Lopez

Larray called out Tony Lopez for getting accused of talking to minors inappropriately. Fans of Larray criticized him for doing this and accused him of making light of the horrible situation. Not only did Larray mention this situation once, but “Tony Lopez caught a case” is a part of the first line of the chorus that repeats twice throughout the song.

  1. Shane Dawson

Shane has faced backlash for making inappropriate (and disgusting) remarks about his cat, so Larray dissed him by saying “someone call PETA.”

  1. Tana Mongeau

Larray called out Tana for being cancelled almost every week for her inconsiderate remarks and actions. He also dissed the influencer by reminding everyone that she dated (and fake married) Jake Paul.

  1. Nessa and Josh Richards

Nessa had an embarrassing bowel movement accident and she is dating Josh. Let’s just keep it at that.

  1. Charli D’Amelio

Charli has rarely faced controversy in her short, but monumental, time on the internet. However, there is a video of her using a vape which fans criticized her for because she is so young and also has young, impressionable fans.

  1. Thomas Petrou

Thomas was one of the creators of the Hype House. Larray made remarks about the Hype House smelling and “tanking” after Charli left.

  1. Tati Westbrook

Tati was called out for being 40 years old, complaining about vitamins and then attacking her so-called friend. Larray insinuates that Tati never liked James and questioned why she befriended him in the first place.

  1. Ethan and Grayson Dolan

Larray claims the twins unfollowed him so he blocked them. He then goes on to comment on the “Sister Squad” which was the friend group the twins were in with James Charles and Emma Chamberlain. The twins were suspected to be the reason behind the falling out and he states their channel “flopped” because of it.

  1. David Dobrik

This one wasn’t really a diss. Instead, Larray threatens to rob him and steal his Tesla. Some fans have speculated that this is also a diss on Alex Warren because he has faced criticism for trying to copy David Dobrik.

Woman Who Entered Reality TV Show to Find Spouse Shocked By Ensuing Drama

A humorous look at this season of ABC’s reality show The Bachelorette.

Who could have guessed that a nationally-televised event where one woman dates 31 different men would include some drama? Not Clare, our eternally 39-year-old bachelorette who is also eternally hopeful that a reality television show will produce the man of her dreams.

Using the principles that made “As Seen on TV” Products a success, Clare dives headlong into a musky cesspool of testosterone to emerge with one man to call her own. However, things started to go south when she began playing favorites with one man – Dale – instead of humoring the other 30 men with her coveted pity laughs.

“All of these men are perfect in every way that they remind me of Dale,” Clare said. However, the other contestants are taking it in stride by pouting, stomping, screaming, and demonstrating various Grade A toddler negotiation tactics. “They’re really taking this like the mature celebrities I hoped they would be,” Clare gushed, “Nothing says, ‘I’m the man of your dreams,’ like sexy moping. Long faces mean long other things, amirit ladies?”

Still, Clare is floored that reality TV drama would lead to so much confusion and emotional breaking points. “Sometimes monetizing emotional abuse isn’t a good thing,” she confessed, “but I still trust the process. It’s a beautiful journey driven by my heart, my dedication, and the wealthy executives at ABC.”

Looking Back at the Life of John Lennon

From a young age, John Lennon showed a lot of promise as a talented musician. At the age of 21, Lennon and his bandmates from the Beatles made their first televised appearance in America, and kicked off their careers. The band took the world by storm in the 60s, winning countless Grammys and one Academy Award for their excellence as musicians. In their short time together, the Beatles managed to become the most successful band in the world, and continue to reign as the best selling artist of all time. They comfortably sit at the top of the list along with Elvis Presley and Eagles. Their most notable works include the songs “Hey Jude”, “Here Comes The Sun”, and “Yesterday.”

The Beatles parted ways in 1970, and similar to the rest of his bandmates, Lennon released his debut album as a solo artist later that year. Plastic Ono Band was produced by Lennon, his wife Yoko Ono, and Phil Spector. Spector is also responsible for producing record breaking albums for artists such as Cher, Tina Turner, and the Beatles themselves. The album was successful, however, his sophomore album, Imagine, sold more units, becoming one of his most famous works. According to Chartmasters, Lennon’s fifth studio album Double Fantasy was the second most successful album the artist released.

Alongside releasing music, Lennon and Ono, who he often collaborated with, were notable activists for peace. They were publically anti war and often protested peacefully against violence in America. The Vietnam War continued until the mid 70’s, and young men were drafted into the war despite the overwhelming majority of America’s youth resisting the war. In 1969, Yoko and Lennon held Bed-ins, in which they stayed in bed fully clothed for two weeks, and they hoped their peaceful way of protesting the war encouraged others to do so. This was met with some backlash because the public criticized the protest of being ineffective, however, it did not discourage the couple. Lennon also supported the Black Panther movement and wrote songs to show his support, including “Power to the People.”

In 1972, the couple released an album titled “Sometime In New York City” which included political songs advocating for the rights for many minorities, including Black Americans and Native Americans. The album also included their strong opinion against the persecution of the Irish and their anti war beliefs. This album was not successful, but it did not stop Lennon and Yoko from continuing their activism. Lennon wrote “Give Peace a Chance” for Plastic Ono Band to establish his stance as an anti violence artist.

Although his songs were political, Lennon didn’t affiliate with any particular political group. Listeners of Imagine and Sometime In New York City argued about his ties to Marxism and Socialism, however, Lennon was inspired by liberal views and then transitioned them into his own beliefs about human rights over any political party. He was also believed to be an atheist.

Lennon was famously a feminist and worked to destroy toxic masulinity that revolved around being too “manly” to advocate for women. He wrote “Woman” to acknowledge and to convey his kudos towards the women of the world, praising them abundantly for being strong. He talked about the song and the meaning he wanted to convey to the world in his final interview before his assassination, stating:

And the Woman song is to Yoko, but it’s to all women. And, because my role in society – or any artist or poet’s role – is to try to express what we all feel….And that’s what I’m tryin’ to express on behalf of all the men to all the women, through my own feelings about women – when it dawned on me, ‘God! It is the other half of the sky’ as the late-great Chairman MacDougal said, right? I mean, they are the other half of the sky, and without them there is nothing. And without us there’s nothing. There’s only the two together creating children, creating society…We’re all human. And, I am tryin’ to say it to Yoko, but to all women, you know? On behalf of all men, in a way. If that’s taken it too much on myself, I feel that artists are that – they’re reflections of society… Mirrors.

John Lennon, December 8th, 1980

Lennon knew he had a platform, and he used it to his advantage. His fans followed in his footsteps in upholding his legacy as an activist and continue to look up to him. Lennon proved that he was not only a member of a boyband who wrote cliché love songs, but also a man with beliefs he held to be true. He paved the way for future rock artists and activists.

Yoko Ono continues to be an activist for peace. John Lennon would have turned 80 on October 9, 2020.
